SanDisk has created an SD card with 512 gigabytes (512GB) of storage space, the highest capacity ever released. The new card is aimed at film-makers shooting in the high-quality 4K format.
The company says that the newly announced 512GB Extreme Pro card (available around $800) is the “world’s highest capacity SD card” launched in the market, with up to 90MB/s write and up to 95MB/s read speeds.
The SanDisk Extreme Pro UHS-I SDHC/SDXC memory cards will also be available in capacities of 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB worldwide.
