Dodge has unveiled the Viper ACR this morning during an event and tour of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles’ Conner Avenue Assembly Plant that hand builds the powerful sports car.
The car comes with an 8.4-liter V10 engine that produces 645 horsepower with a top speed of 284 km/h 177 mp/h. The total aero package includes an adjustable, twin-element, carbon-fiber rear wing, carbon-fiber diffuser, an extendable front splitter, and dive planes. The aerodynamic bodywork kit will provide an outstanding grip and balanced performance on the track.
Production of the 2016 Dodge Viper ACR commences in the third quarter of the year. Watch the video below.
