Impressive Video Projection On Manhattan Bridge

An impressive video projection “As Above, So Below” that was mapped on the Manhattan Bridge in Dumbo NYC, Brooklyn during the September DUMBO Arts Festival. Artists Simon Anaya, Farkas Fulop, Richard Jochum, Johnny Moreno, John Ensor Parker and Ryan Uzilevsky created the projection in conjunction with Senovva and Light Harvest Studio.

From the looks of it, I think this project is more challenging because a big part of the projection is in a tunnel, and that makes it even harder to cover those curved spots that are technically hard to focus on.

I always loved watching the art of 3D projection mapping like the one at Kuwait Towers or the Ukraine. Its all about showing off their talents instead of just entertaining. Yet, overall it is very interesting and fun to watch.
