A small recycling company in Nairobi, Ocean Sole, is cleaning up the beaches to recycle colorful footwear into toys. The company is cleaning washes the flip-flops and the dirty pieces of rubber that were once cruising the Indian Ocean’s currents and turning them into colorful handmade giraffes, elephants and other toy animals.
