South Korean designer Wongyung Lee designed a rubber jelly material for the career women to replace their usual high-heeled shoes, with a more flexible and comfortable foot wear for driving. A small recycling company in Nairobi, Ocean Sole, is cleaning up the beaches to recycle colorful footwear into toys. The company is cleaning washes the flip-flops and the dirty pieces of rubber that were once cruising the Indian Ocean’s currents and turning them into colorful handmade giraffes, elephants and other toy animals. via: Yahoo News
