Bruce Lee Comes Back to Life in TV Commercial

Martial arts legend and action star Bruce Lee was brought back to life in a TV commercial. The video features Bruce Lee wandering through a Hong Kong hotel, expounding on his philosophy about how to be a game changer.

The whiskey brand has faced some backlash over using Lee for the ad. According to South China Morning Post, Hong Kong filmmaker Edwin Lee says the ad was “immoral”.

“To attribute all that talent so you can sell alcohol? I find it disgraceful. The man even abstained from alcohol,” he said.

“Bruce Lee” has this to say in the 90-second spot, partially translated from Chinese into English: “Dragons never die. Because dragons draw power from water. Let water flow, and it has the power to change the world. Be water, my friend.”
