My favorite Snapple drink contains alcohol?!Ā Dubai have ordered to have the fruit flavored tea drink to be removed from supermarket shelves after it was found to contain excessive amounts of alcohol.
According toĀ Arabian Business,Ā Dubai Municipality removed the American beverage known for its flavored teas and fruit drinksĀ after they found that it contain 0.48 percent and 0.05 percent of alcohol.Ā The figures will still be enough to upset some of the people who regularly drink the flavored teaĀ because our religion forbids us from drinking alcohol.
Last night I was at the Co-op Store and I think SnappleĀ has been taking off the shelves here in Kuwait as well. But trust me, itĀ will beĀ like the Barbican drinkĀ situation, a couple of months and it will be back on the shelves in no time.
