Singapore-based Infinium Robotics created a drone waiters that are able to serve food and drinks to customer’s tables in fully autonomous mode, delivering food in a fast, safe and classy manner.
The routes to each table are preprogrammed and as the chef enters the table number into the software interface. The drones will fly back and forth from the kitchen, carrying drinks or dishes to the customers table, without any human intervention.
The company is scheduled to introduce the first round of drone waiters by the end of 2015, each capable of carrying up to 4.4 pounds of food and drink cargo. Watch the video below.
