Nissan revealed recently a new paint job on its LEAF car that absorbs UV energy to glow in the dark for eight to ten hours after sundown.
The luminescent paint contains a “very rare natural earth product”, according to Nissan, which is quite expensive to make at this time, and it simply wouldn’t be feasible for mass production. Nissan says that the special coating could last 25 years if made commercially available. Watch the video below.
