Divergent Microfactories founder Kevin Czinger and his team have developed their own 3D-printing technology to produce a prototype of Blade, the world’s first 3D-printed supercar.
The Blade is made using a proprietary solution called a Node: a 3D-printed aluminum joint that connects pieces of carbon fiber tubing to make up the car’s chassis.
The supercar is powered by a 700-horsepower turbocharged engine that runs on compressed natural gas or regular gasoline. DM claims it will go from 0-60 in about two seconds. Watch the video below.
