Pizza Hut teamed up with SoftBank Robotics and MasterCard to experiment with humanoid robots called Pepper. The robot allows customers to pay for their meals without interacting with another human.
The application will be powered by MasterPass, the global digital payment service from MasterCard that connects consumers with merchants, enabling them to make fast, simple, and secure digital payments across channels and devices.
The robot can take orders, makes suggestions, and even gives nutritional information on food items. Watch the video below to learn more.
