Turn Old Plastic Bottles Into String

A Russian engineer Maxim Egorov created a clever DIY homemade string made from recycled plastic bottles, strong enough to hold a wooden chair together. He gave instructions on how to turn used plastic bottles into endless supply of strings with his handmade bottle-cutter that he designed. Check out the video below to find out how.

Eddy Currents Demonstration

As you can see in the video below the demonstrator got a length of copper pipe and dropped a small neodymium magnet into it. It shows that the magnet wasn’t attracted to the pipe, but the descent was still slowed dramatically on the way down creating eddy currents. Interesting, don’t you think!? Watch the video below.
