Steve Jobs Predicts the Future

When Steve Jobs died, exactly a year ago today, public outpouring of grief throughout the world. Everyone in the Apple community expected his death and were profoundly sad when he died. And now people are taking time to reminisce on the Apple co-founder’s life.

Apple has lost an icon and a visionary that will never be replaced. Steve Jobs will do what it takes to turn ideas into reality. These are the kind of people we need in companies these days.

I read this article in the Huffington Post and I was absolutely amazed on what this guy is capable of doing. Its about a recorded speech that he made in 1983 at the International Design Conference in Aspen. Steve Jobs was talking about several modern innovations in technology. He talks about the early version of Google Street View that was made by MIT, predicting the iPad, and talking about the future of voice recognition (i.e. Siri). Its amazing, this guy is like a time traveler! Listen to his speech below.

The iPhone 5 Will Be Announced Today

Apple will unveil its latest version of iPhone today at Yerba Buena Center for Arts in San Francisco. The device is expected to have a larger screen and a new dock connector and should be a bigger leap forward than the 4S was.

It’s been almost a year since Apple unveiled the iPhone 4S with voice recognition (Siri) and a dual-core A5 chip allowing it to use much faster graphics for gameplay and to download data twice as fast. Whether its the iPhone 5 or “new iPhone” I just hope Apple doesn’t sticks to the same basic script they pulled off with the New iPad back in march. So, let’s see what Apple holds for us tonight.

Siri Controlled By Brain Waves

Josh Evans and Ollie Hayward claimed on their blog to have taken Siri to the next level, by making the iPhone 4S feature that obeys voice commands, and turning it into an app that obeys brainwave patterns. Although there has been some debate in the scientific community and some websites like gregslab and Mashable, about whether Project Black Mirror real or fake, I think its possible but probably not likely any time soon.
