For the first time in the Middle East The Avenues mall will host on the first of November and for a period of 17 days a 300 year narrative of Kuwait’s history presented through the latest picture recognition technology and interactive marketing services.
Interactive Mega Map:
A 680 square meter map of Kuwait will be constructed on the floor of The Avenues (2nd Avenue) with special symbols scattered all around the map. Scanning these symbols through our special application designed for this event (Treek) you will be able to view a digital archive of Kuwait’s’ history and achievements.
Kuwait Time Line:
In addition to the Map, a chronological presentation of Kuwait’s history will be printed on glass panels (The Time Line) and placed next to the map with symbols representing important key events in Kuwait’s history also viewed through your smart phone.
The compiling of this archival treasure was only possible by the contribution of Kuwaiti enthusiasts and researchers with a passion to document and acquire through diligent efforts materials and information about our beloved nation from sources inside and outside Kuwait.
Our smart Phone Application (Treek) is available to download free of charge from Apple store and Google Play. Only through the scanning feature of this app will you be able to enjoy never been seen pictures and videos about Kuwait cultural history and enjoy a nostalgic trip down the golden era of Kuwait’s Television and Radio productions.

Marvel puts Tony Stark’s new suit on display at the Comic-Con. The Iron Man 3 movie is in production now in North Carolina, but the guys at Marvel wanted to surprise the crowd at the Comic Con to show off the latest Iron Man armor suit.

He started off with a helmet and end up make the whole suit. Mark Pearson from Bradford, West Yorkshire UK built an amazing life-size replica of the Iron Man outfit using fibre glass and 400 sheets of cardboard that were carved into silicone mold, it took him 14 months building the model suit.
As you can see from the above picture, mark is a 5ft 6in and won’t fit into the 6ft 2in suit, so he asked his friend Darren Higgins who took some time out from managing his local supermarket to wear the costume.
Another cool homemade suit -picture above- was made by Anthony Le from Inglewood, California. He built an Iron Man suit made out of eco-friendly recycled plastic. He created a couple of models, in my opinion this is one of his best suits. He integrated LED lights for the eyes and the nuclear reactor with a motorized face plate. It took him about two weeks to built it. Watch him showing off his suit in the video below.
